Cyclist Track Days 2025 bikes #14: Basso SV
Whether you’re looking for a new bike or just want to try out some of the world’s best, Cyclist Track Days offer a unique experience to test the latest top-end bikes from the leading brands on the market.
Next up in our run-through of the incredible bikes that you can test ride at this years Track Days is the Basso SV.
The SV is Basso’s brand new all-round road race bike, replacing the Diamante SV aero bike. It’s more versatile than the Diamante but also lighter and just as aero.
Basso’s head of product and marketing Leonardo Basso said of the SV, ‘Because we don’t have a WorldTour team we don’t need to produce bikes for pro riders. Instead, we can create a bike that is for real world riders.’
For staff writer Laurence Kilpatrick’s full review you’ll have to keep an eye out for the next issue of Cyclist – spoiler he calls it ‘an exciting step forward for Basso’ – but in the meantime check out his first impressions.
