How to watch Paris-Roubaix 2024

Paris-Roubaix, the Hell of the North, the Queen of the Classics, returns this weekend with the women’s race on Saturday 6th April and the men’s race the following day on Sunday 7th April.

The women’s peloton will set off from Denain on Saturday 6th April with 148km on the agenda. The profile will trace some of France’s harshest roads, including 29.2km of punishing pavé set to be tackled across 17 secteurs. The men, on the other hand, have 259km on the menu, including 55km of Paris-Roubaix’s signature cobblestone roads. This will include the iconic secteurs of the Carrefour de l’Arbre, Mons-en-Pévèle and the Trouée d’Arenberg.

Mathieu van der Poel, the defending men’s champion, returns to the Hell of the North on scintillating form after dissecting the field at the Tour of Flanders. Without Wout van Aert on the start line, Van der Poel will be the out-and-out favourite for glory. The women’s race is more wide open as Lotte Kopecky looks to claim her first Roubaix title while an in-form Lidl-Trek squad aims to bolster their Paris-Roubaix Femmes trophy cabinet.

Unless you’re going to the race – which we can also help you with – you’ll want to be firmly planted in front of your TV, computer, laptop, tablet, phone or whatever device you watch cycling on, for the whole weekend. With that in mind, here’s how to watch it all.

The Hell of the North takes place over the weekend of 6th-7th April, with the women’s race on Saturday and men’s on Sunday. Make sure to block off your calendar, cancel your weekend plans because, as usual, it should be legendary.

Paris-Roubaix is being shown on Eurosport and Discovery+ in the UK, Max and FloBikes in the United States, Canada can catch it on FloBikes too. In Australia the races will be broadcast on SBS.

If it’s not being shown in your country, you may be able to watch coverage using a VPN – Virtual Private Network – which allows users to mask their IP address and watch geo-blocked content, provided they don’t need to pay for a subscription. This is also helpful for watching paid-for coverage while travelling abroad in countries without access.

One such example is ExpressVPN, which is very well reviewed, has specific advice for watching cycling and costs £5.36 per month with three months free.

Other options include NordVPNSurfshark and Kapersky.
