How to watch Liège-Bastogne-Liège 2024
The final Monument of spring 2024, Liège-Bastogne-Liège, takes place on Sunday 21st April and will be broadcast live on Eurosport and Discovery+ in the UK and Europe, Flobikes in the USA and Canada, SBS in Australia and Sky in New Zealand.
Also known as La Doyenne, it’s the oldest Monument, with the men’s race first held in 1892 and the women’s race added in 2017. It wraps up the Ardennes week before the week-long stage races become the main focus of attention in the run-up to the Giro d’Italia.
The men’s race is run over 259km and the women’s race 147km, with the climax of both coming on the final climbs of the Côte de la La Redoute (1.9km at 9.6%) and the Côte de la Roche-aux-Faucons (4.4km at 5.4%).
In 2023 the men’s race was won from a long-range break by Remco Evenepoel, who broke free from the peloton on La Redoute, much like he had the year prior, to secure a poignant Monument victory in the rainbow jersey, leaving Tom Pidcock and Santiago Buitrago to fill the final two steps on the podium behind. The women’s race was a closer affair as Demi Vollering out-sprinted Trek’s Elisa Longo-Borghini to claim a third Ardennes title of the 2023 season.

If it’s not being shown in your country, you may be able to watch coverage using a VPN – Virtual Private Network – which allows users to mask their IP address and watch geo-blocked content, provided they don’t need to pay for a subscription.
