The 2025 edition of the Étape du Tour will closely follow Stage 19 of the Tour de France, taking cyclists from Albertville to La Plagne. On July 20th, 17,000 amateur cyclists will tackle a 131 km route from Albertville to La Plagne.
While not the 2025 Tour’s longest stage, its demanding nature is undeniable, featuring five climbs. Highlights include the Col de Saisies, Col du Pré and the famous Cormet de Roselend, echoing the 1987 showdown between Stephen Roche and Pedro Delgado. The final climb is a gruelling 19.1 km ascent to La Plagne.
