Castelli Fondo 2 Long Sleeve Jersey

Castelli reckons that on its own the Fondo 2 jersey is good for temperatures from 12° to 18°C. Add a shell over it and you can go a lot lower. It quotes a weight of 255g for a size medium, so it’s not too heavy either.
Castelli describes the cut as a neutral fit, so it shouldn’t be pro-level tight and should allow you to layer up underneath. There’s a reasonable range of size/colour options on offer at Tredz.

Proviz specialises in reflective clothing and this jacket is ideal for riding in low light conditions or in the dark. It’s made of a highly reflective material that’s also waterproof, with adjustable cuffs and waistband and rainproof zips to keep out the rain.
With a claimed 500g weight, it’s not too heavy either and would be a good option for commuting or if you like to head out in wet wintry conditions. A mesh lining and built-in vents help to keep your ride comfortable.

Even if you’ve gone tubeless, it’s a fact of cycling life that sooner or later you’re going to need a spare inner tube. Specialized’s standard tubes are good quality and not too heavy to carry around with you on a ride.
