Pro bike: Tadej Pogačar’s World Championships-winning Colnago V4Rs
Tadej Pogačar’s World Championships road race victory was completely expected, but amazing nonetheless. The Slovenian attacked from the peloton with 100km to go and never looked back.
He held off the chasing groups riding this special edition Colnago V4Rs, with a paintjob to celebrate his achievements this year, including yellow for the Tour de France, pink for the Giro d’Italia and blue for the Giro’s maglia azzurra KOM jersey.
Techwise it’s very sponsor-faithful, despite his recent criticism of the accuracy of his power meter. Points of note are the funky AbsoluteBlack brake pads, Continental’s TT tyres – which are actually a popular choice in road races – and the funky blue derailleur hanger – which is almost certainly just there to be blue.
